Night Sky Explorer

When the stars twinkle above the Gantrisch and the sky reveals all its splendor, your adventure as a Night Sky Explorer begins.

After a fascinating introduction at the planetarium, we’ll head out to our telescope, the centerpiece of the evening. Here, we’ll take the time to explore the night sky together, observe planets, star clusters, nebulae, and distant galaxies, and discover the secrets of the universe. The focus of this experience is deliberately on observing the real night sky. Book your ticket now!

Since this experience depends on a clear sky, the Night Sky Explorer takes place only when weather conditions are suitable.

If the event must be canceled due to poor visibility, we’ll notify you by email by the afternoon of the day before. You’ll then receive a voucher for the value of your ticket, which you can easily redeem for a new date. That way, you won’t miss your stargazing experience—you’ll simply postpone it to the next clear night.

Implementation

  • Once or twice a month
  • Duration: approx. 3 hours
  • The event will be conducted in Swiss German or Standard German
  • The event will take place if there are at least 15 registrations
  • If the event is canceled, we’ll notify you by email no later than the afternoon of the day before. If you don’t hear from us, you can be sure the event is happening
