When the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, one of nature’s most fascinating spectacles unfolds. Experience the solar eclipse together with the experts from Space Eye, learn about how this fascinating phenomenon occurs in the planetarium, and then watch the partial solar eclipse under the open sky at Uecht.
All visitors will receive solar eclipse glasses for safe viewing of the Sun. Together, we’ll watch the Sun darken and enjoy a summer evening full of astronomical discoveries. Blankets and stools will be provided to create a cozy atmosphere, while a coffee cart will treat you to coffee, sweet treats, and a small cheese and meat platter. This will make the solar eclipse a special experience for all the senses.

4:50–5:30 p.m. Arrival in Niedermuhlern, visit to the cheese factory, and shuttle rides to Space Eye until everyone has arrived
5:30 p.m. Themed live show at the planetarium
6:25 p.m. Break with a regional cheese and meat platter
7:00 p.m. Guided tour of the exhibition
7:30 p.m. Observation of the partial solar eclipse, including a coffee cart with sweet treats
8:15–9:00 p.m. End of the event and return shuttle ride to Niedermuhlern, cheese factory
