Getting There

Take the Space Shuttle or walk to Uecht?

The easiest way to get to the Space Eye is by taking our shuttle from the parking lot in Niedermuhlern. The shuttle departs for the trip there between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and for the return trip between 4:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

If you’d like to arrive later, you can also reach the Space Eye on foot. The nature trail to the Uecht takes about 45 minutes. Alternatively, a direct path of about 2 km leads to the Space Eye in approximately 25 minutes. If you’d like to leave earlier, you can also walk back or ask our on-site guides for personalized transportation back.

Good to know: Admission to the exhibition at does not include a guided tour or a planetarium show. You explore the Space Eye on your own and set your own pace. Children 6 and under visit the Space Eye for free, but they must have a valid free ticket and be closely accompanied by an adult.
